The title The Presence reflects what first drew me to paint this portrait of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates. There is a calm strength in his presence—quiet yet commanding— that stays with you, even in silence. I’ve always admire his calm strength and the way he carries responsibility with dignity and clarity. This painting is my way of expressing that respect. I didn’t want to overcomplicate it—I simply aimed to capture the quiet confidence and depth I see in him. Through light, tone, and simplicity, I tried to reflect not just a leader, but the presence of someone who leads with purpose and integrity.
